Paul McCartney

Album Notes

Released a year after 1986's Press To Play, All The Best! (the exclamation mark is significant as a statement of fact) was the second official collection of Paul's greatest hits after 1978's Wings Greatest. Featuring differing track listings for the UK and US versions, the album lodged itself at number 2 in the UK, selling over 900,000 copies, as well as selling over two million in the US. The album was preceded in the UK by a new song, Once Upon A Long Ago, which peaked at number 10 and was Paul's fortieth single. Produced by legendary producer Phil Ramone and mixed by George Martin, the song also features violin by Nigel Kennedy.
