The album also featured Dave Gilmour of Pink Floyd on guitar, as well production from the likes of Trevor Horn, Mitchell Froom and Steve Lipson. The album crashed into the UK charts at number 1 in June 1989 and despite not breaking the top twenty, spent nearly a year in the US charts.
