It’s spooky season! Halloween is here, and with Paul currently on the GOT BACK tour in South America, audiences are getting plenty of treats and no tricks – unless you count the pyrotechnics during ‘Live and Let Die’!
Despite his busy schedule, Paul found time to sit down with us backstage and answer some of your questions, including this one from Will on Facebook, which was conjured up just in time for October. Take it away, Will!
Will: Have you ever had any supernatural encounters?
Paul: I don't think so. Not really. My dreams are very supernatural, I can go anywhere there. But not in real life. I've never actually seen a ghost or a spirit, and I'm not a great believer in all that. A lot of it comes from raising kids: when they’d say, ‘Dad, I’m scared of ghosts,’ I’d say, ‘There's no such thing.’ You do a lot of that as a parent.
So, I don't believe in it. I think the human mind is susceptible to getting a bit worked up and overexcited, and often these things have a rational explanation in the end.
We can safely stop hiding under the duvet then – thanks for the reassurance, Paul! So, if you’re ever feeling spooked out by a scary apparition, you can just ‘Listen to What the Man Said’ and ‘Smile Away’.
