You Gave Me The Answer - How do you stay connected to your family while touring?

He’s already ticked off Australia and Mexico, and now Paul is bringing the GOT BACK tour to Brazil for an incredible close to 2023!

With the first tour date in Adelaide, Australia kicking things off on the 18th October and the final show in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil set to take place on the 16th December, it’s been a long stretch on the road for Paul and the band. As they’ve been making memories around the world (both for themselves and the fans!), there must have been times when thoughts turned to family and friends back home. So, when we put a call-out on Paul’s Official Facebook Group for fans to submit their question, this one from Jennifer caught our attention…

Jennifer on Facebook: How do you stay connected to your family while touring?

Paul: FaceTime!

PaulMcCartney.com: Do you text as well? Is there a McCartney family group chat or anything…?

Paul: No, I don’t do group chats! It surprises a lot of people, but I just like being on the phone instead. I like to ring individual people.

It seems home isn’t just where the heart is, but where the good phone signal is too! Paul’s GOT BACK tour will visit Brasília, Belo Horizonte, São Paulo, Curitiba and Rio de Janeiro in the coming weeks, ending 2023’s epic run of live shows. In a surprise start to the Brazil leg, Paul played his most intimate show ever in the country at Clube de Choro in Brasília on the 28th November. Check out highlights from the show here!
