Sticking Out of My Back Pocket: One of These Summers

As we find our lattes spiced and our wardrobes shift from summer attire to cosy jumpers and plaid shirts, the crisp embrace of autumn is upon us. As we say goodbye to the sunshine and warmth, it’s a perfect time to reflect on our “song of the summer.”

This year we’ve been sitting outside (when the weather permitted) jamming along to the Backyard Sessions from One Hand Clapping. We've longed for the days gone by, listening to ‘Souvenir’ from Flaming Pie or the serene ‘One of These Days’ from McCartney II. 

For the August edition of the ‘Sticking Out Of My Back Pocket’ playlist, we took a look at songs Paul has released in the summertime and pondered if any of these have ever made it to your "song of the summer" lists in the past.
